We are so grateful for having Robin in our son's life! Despite more than three years of special education services, our son still could not read. His lack of academic success had him feeling defeated, leading to behaviors that could easily interfere with his learning - but Robin was patient and understood. I'll always remember my son's words to Robin after only a few lessons (and some intense behaviors from my son) he said, "thank you for not giving up on me". Within twenty hours of direct instruction, we began to see significant progress with our son. Armed with new strategies, he willingly began to read, and smiled at his own success.
